Immunisation – St. Ambrose Charity Hospital

Immunization is one of the key services offered to the community at the facility and it is free of charge.
We aim at protecting children from vaccine preventable diseases such as;

Polio,
TB,
Measles,
Diphtheria,
Diarrheal diseases,
Pneumonia among others.

Vaccines Available

BCG,
BOPV,
IPV,
PCV,
DPT,
Rota,
Measles,
Vitamin A,
Mebendazole.

Activity

We immunize children both at the static centre and in the community outreaches every Monday.

Statistics

On average we receive 110 children per week at the facility and 100 children per outreach.
The coverage areas include: Kagadi, Kyenzige, Nyaruziba, Kiruani, Nankulabye, Kitegwa and Luteete
