St. Margret Maternity Ward

This is a female / maternity/ Gynecological ward that also handles newborn babies (0 – 28days)

  • Post-natal care.

The ward admits over 102 patients on average per month.

Staffing

The ward comprises of 10 midwives who have greatly administered quality care to patients. This has enabled the ward to record achievements in;

  • Integrated Health care deliveries
  • Newborn resuscitation and essential care
  • Reduced neonatal and maternal deaths
  • Improved nurse to patient relationship.
  • Creation of awareness to patients about health issues.

It is headed by Midwife Kisembo Doreen.
