The department has an imaging technologist with a Bachelor’s degree in medical imaging and has a six years’ experience in the section.
This is part of the diagnostic section of medicine which comprises of:

St. Micheal Theatre

The department is comprised of a medical doctor who oversees all the operation activities, a midwife who gives a hand during C-section deliveries, a theatre nurse and an anesthetist.

A.R.T Clinic

The clinic is responsible for HIV care services; offering HIV counseling and testing, prevention of HIV acquisition and transmission and manages opportunistic Infections in people living with HIV AIDS.

The clinic has a team that longs to offer psycho – social support to HIV victims and also reduce mother to child transmission …..

Who We Are

St Ambrose Charity Hospital is a non-governmental organization registered with the Ministry of Health in Uganda. It started to operate officially on 2nd June 2003. The Health Centre consists of several units that have helped it to offer the best services to patients in the area. The Health Centre operates hand-in-hand with many other organizations and hospitals both government and non-governmental in Uganda and outside Uganda in the effort to save lives. Services are offered to our patients by a team of well-trained, skilled and experienced staff that includes: nurses, clinicians, doctors and support staff. This has enabled the institution to meet the patients’ expectations for years.
